Teresa A. Sullivan Elected 8th President of the University of Virginia

Teresa A. Sullivan delivers her acceptance speech upon being unanimously elected by the Board of Visitors to serve as the University of Virginia’s 8th president. Sullivan will begin her term on August 1, 2010, following the retirement of current U.Va. President John T. Casteen III.
